How Clover Cottage began
Clover Cottage is located on our smallholding in Fife and It has been in our family for over 40 years. We have lots of wonderful memories running around the fields and shore and have always loved being surrounded by wildlife and nature.
We want to share that experience, so we decided to open Clover Cottage for guests to enjoy. The cottage itself has been recently renovated, providing some modern features and comforts while also retaining as much of the original character as possible.
The accommodation provides a rustic and comfortable retreat for those who want to escape the hustle and busyness of daily life. The cottage comfortably sleeps four and features a spacious double bedroom.
Pittenweem Properties will be in charge of letting. They will be dealing with any queries, booking and guest liaisons to ensure you have a fantastic stay and everything you need. After all, we want your time by the sea to be as wonderful as possible.

We are dedicated to making your stay more comfortable, and we provide a host of facilities to ensure that. Sea views can be enjoyed from all of the communal spaces and bedrooms, allowing you to soak in the coast and give yourself time to relax.
Clover Cottage features a private garden with stunning coastal view. There is access to the Fife Coastal Path - giving every adventurer the opportunity to explore.
Crail and Anstruther are a three-minute drive on either side of the cottage. Both have Coop supermarkets available.
We are dog-friendly. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed at Clover Cottage. Due to livestock being on-site, we request dogs are kept on lead at all times when outside. The garden is contained and dogs can be let off-lead here.
Please note: this is a quiet location on a working small-holding unsuitable for parties/gatherings. There is a strict 4-person maximum (with the exception of small children, where we can provide a travel cot). Our animals are in adjacent fields and require peace, quiet, and respectful behaviour.
Little Extras
We want all of our guests to feel comfortable and at home when they stay with us. Upon arrival you will find a few local treats waiting for you. Guests staying the week will be provided with a special extra.
We also provide milk, tea, coffee, and sugar in the cottage - pairing perfectly with your welcome basket so that your first evening with is is nothing but relaxed.
